Five of us - Malcolm, Fiona, Mark, Beth and David P - had a nice little
paddle on Malcolm's local river, the Wey, from Farncombe Bridge to
Guildford. Nothing exciting to report - even Mark's attempted seal launch
from near one of the locks didn't come to grief, nor could we induce
much drama on the little weir in Guildford. And a nice chance to see
pretty countryside, on a sunny day, and bits of Guildford from
attractive angles I've not seen before. All topped off by a barbecue
chez Malcolm - to whom, many thanks for organising
this.
