[This collection of links is quite old now (May 2013)]
There are many UK canoeing and outdoor recreation links - I've tried to select those likely to be useful to our members, including ones I myself check or use regularly. I try to keep them checked, but links do move - so please do let me know of any problems or errors - or if you have a favourite, "undiscovered" link you'd like added to my list - just email secretary@civilservicecanoeclub.org.uk... I've tried to highlight Clubs, suppliers etc in the London/South East area at the top of relevant sections. For further information on other CSSC activities look at the CSSC London or the CSSC web sites.
Note: the Civil Service Canoe Club is not responsible for the contents or reliability of the linked web sites. Listing should not be taken as endorsement of any kind. We cannot guarantee that these links will work all of the time and we have no control over the availability of the linked pages.
The best resource for day-to-day kayaking news and gossip in the UK is the set of "bulletin boards" available in the "Community" section via The UK Rivers Guidebook where people can post questions, find information, and discuss relevant issues.
The Song of the Paddle is a similarly useful resource for open boating (Canadian canoeing).
Excellent UK Rivers on-line guidebook and more (bookshop, articles, worldwide links, discussion board etc), managed by Mark Rainsley - with contributions from anyone who'll write them!!
